Pancho Rabbit can't wait until his father gets home. Papa has gone to El Norte to work in the carrot and lettuce fields. When Papa doesn't show up on time, Pancho heads north to find him. A Coyote helps him along the way but demands all the supplies Pancho carries. This is a story about how migrants make their way to the United States and the role of Coyotes in their journey. It is a pretty good way to teach kids about illegal immigration and why people want to come to the U.S.
