My first Louis L’Amour book, and I had an absolutely wonderful time! I found it adventurous, yet deeply profound, a touching story about a man wanting to better his lot in life and thus his future family!

I had absolutely no idea there were so many books in this series 😅
However I’m excited to continue what I’m sure will prove to be an exciting and heartfelt journey!

The writing was truly engaging :)

PS it was really cool to hear about the Romans trying to conquer England, and how even in the 1500s people were interested in history and the artifacts from the people that came before them.
