The Swedish Prince by Karina Halle

4.0

So I was on Radish trying to earn free coins when I came upon this story called Royal Nanny. I started reading it and then I realized, this book had such refined writing and well developed characters so unlike the immature fan fictions or amateur writings on Radish. So I checked the name of the author and there it was. Karina Halle. No wonder the writing was great.

Karina Halle can expertly capture the true essence of romance in her books. Especially with the heroes hailing from an exotic European country. My god. They have amazing characterizations, jaded and haunted but enough love for their heroines. I’ve read Racing the Sun and The Nordic King and I loved both them. They could successfully portray the relationship between people from two different places and culture.

About this book. It was amazing. Loved the storytelling and the characters. Maggie was such a typical Karina Halle heroine. Strong willed and ambitious. Not one to immediately swoon into the heroes arms. And then there’s Victor. Such a sweet and beautiful man. I love how in each of her books, the heroes have this poetic dialogue to say how much he loves his woman.

Overall, great writing style, great characters and hot lovemaking scenes. Especially Victor murmuring those sweet nothings in Swedish. Omg so hot. And a little dirty talk. Loved this book.
