The Sunny Side by Lily Morton

3.0

3.5 stars. The first half was lovely, but the story went off the rails a bit in the second half, with Jonas' behaviour being quite ridiculous. I also would have liked to have a clearer image of Dean. He felt a bit too much like a manic pixie dream boy to be real. The fact that almost the entire book was from Jonas' POV didn't help. Still, even if it wasn't my favourite by Lily, I did enjoy the book, not in the least because of all of the familiar faces. There's also lots of sequel potential here and I look forward to them, especially in the case of Olivier.
