Graceling by Kristin Cashore

It started off a bit slow and I lost interest during the first ~100 pages, but it began to really kick off thanks to Po. I found Katsa reasonably likeable, but what I really liked about this book was how the world handled and reacted to the various Graces. It was also really great to see the different ranges of Graces throughout the book, and the world was fairly well described. The writing was also beautiful.

SpoilerI was a bit frustrated at times reading Katsa's emotional responses to marriage and all of that, especially given how giving Po is, but... oh well.

It was a good book, beautifully written and the concept was fantastic. It just fell short of being really fantastic and loveable for me, however.
