This was a good book about a breakup professional who fake dates with a client’s ex accident falling for him. I’m a huge fan of business type of romance so this book was on my radar. So about the book, the storyline was great and I enjoyed how their author had the plot all lined up. As much of the writing for the storyline was great; I have to say that I didn’t enjoy the dialogue of the character’s as much. The pacing was great and I enjoyed the setting with also the dual pov of both characters.
Zora and Cyrus are the main characters in this book. I enjoyed both character. Zora is a black business break up owner with her siblings and Cyrus works at a law firm. I enjoyed both characters story and how their storyline worked out. I do have to say that their character development was not the best. It was very slow and that’s probably because of the whole opposite attraction. There are many side characters in this book and I’m guessing their stories are going to be next in the series. The romance was a little steamy with fake dating and opposite attract but not the best couple.
The ending was a HEA and I was sad to see no epilogue. I love epilogues in these type of books just to see how the characters work our years later. As much as this book had its down moments, it was still great at the same time. I enjoyed the diversity and the humor in this book. This book is perfect for fans of Make Up Break Up and The Hating Game.
