As with the last Maggie Stiefvater that I read, “Shiver”, I couldn’t get enough of it! The tale of Grace and Sam hit even closer to home for me in this book because of what they go through (don’t worry, I won’t spoil!).
Maggie takes us through so much in “Linger”. I will hesitantly admit that yes, I did cry while reading this book on more than one occasion. Normally, sequels feel forced (as I’m sure you all know), but I feel like “Linger” is a perfect continuation of the story. I will always love her books, but I especially love the Wolves of Mercy Falls series.
I look up to Maggie as an author as well. Her ambition, her description, and her raw writing talent inspires me.
Long story short, if you do not read this series, then what are you doing with your life?
