I have honestly never felt so many mixed feelings towards a book. Whilst reading different chapters, I thought about giving this either a low two stars or a contrasting five stars, due to my inconsistent emotions throughout the 300 pages. Indeed, it was the ending (which by the way, made me shed tears) that made me realize how much I was loving the book. Thus, giving it 5 stars.
This has made me feel so many diverse emotions; from anger to fright, to happiness to sadness. The characters are so vividly written, and I am honestly so happy that I decided to read the book while also listening to the audio.
I am not going to mention any spoilers, just that almost all of the plot twists at the end had me shook, apart from only the last plot twist which I had some suspicions about. Having said that, I just cannot forget mentioning my favourite character; Ellie. Her first typed letter to Rowan was just so adorable, and it literally made me tear up. Her character was very profoundly written, that I felt that I was actually hearing a young girl's perspective.
Despite the fact that I had to think quite a bit before rating this book, now that I have comprehended everything, I can say that I really enjoyed this.
Without a doubt, I would recommend this extraordinary, mind boggling book to anyone!
