We Hereby Refuse: Japanese American Acts of Resistance During World War II by Frank Abe, Tamiko Nimura

This book is excellent. It's a graphic novel about the nuances--and protests--to Japanese-American incarceration. It challenges a lot of what I was taught about Japanese-American incarceration and gives a great deal of context. It also shifts between different people's stories to show the different experiences.
