I enjoyed this book very much. It is funny, and sad in parts. I had mixed emotions about Ernest and his two woman predicament. I felt bad at times and then angry at what he did to himself and the woman he married. In the end it cost him his life by suicide. Who knows how many more novels he could have wrote if he had not taken his life. In the end very sad tale. If you don't know about Hemingway and his wives this is a good, interesting book on the subject.
