Commander in Chief by Katy Evans

The reason I give this book 5 stars and not 4, is bc I've really missed LOVE in books. (read below)

First of all, the reason I wanted to give it 4 is bc I feel like there could've been a bit more tension or drama or a little bit more, a problem to be solved or something. In the story where I thought "oh now there's happening something" it had like 4 sentences and then got solved. And we could have seen Matt interact with junior a bit more, and a tiny bit more of his vulnerable side, although his eyes and words did tell everything he needed to. Then it maybe become a tad too lovy (if that's a word, lol), but I still liked it. OH and the thing with his father, I feel like it got brushed aside rather quickly, while I was waiting for a big thing, so that got me a bit down too, and wanted me to give the story 4 stars..

Katy Evans has in Mr. President and this book touched some of the issues around the world, which I'm a huge fan of. REALLY. I love Katy (the author) has written about her opinions towards there big issues that surrounds us on a daily basis. These are issues that, unfortunately, not everyone is thinking about, and just lives in a bubble. So thank you Katy, although i wasn't much, maybe it was enough for some to think a little bit more about our world problems.

So back to my first sentence of the review. I missed love. A good old love story. It was fun, sweet, exciting, vulnerable and very beautiful, starting from book 1. There wasn't any of the problems where they treated each other like absolute shit, which is amazing, bc it's actually really stupid when they do.... They straight up respected each other, loved so strongly although they had the whole countries burdens on their shoulders, especially Matt. That's why I gave it freaking 5 stars, bc it also was a really beautiful story, and I'm SOOOO in love with the president (Yes, Matt Hamilton)

(side note: I'm sorry Sin (yes, I'm talking about Malcolm Saint), Matt might have overshadowed you, but so you don't feel neglected, imma reread your story soon;))
