I felt weirdly enthralled by this book. In retrospect it didn't really feel like a whole lot actually happened, but there were times that I wanted to see what was going to happen next anyway. I wanted to see how it played out even though you kinda knew what was going to happen the entire time. It's honestly a pretty good authorship to tell the reader flat out what is going to happen in this book from the beginning and still deliver.
