The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
4.0
What a plot! This was so beautifully intricate, I applaud all the work the author must have put in even before writing the first line. The premise is chef's kiss.
I must say I didn't see the final twist coming. I wasn't too happy with it, it was alright. But I loved all the mini-twists sprinkled throughout. Each one had me so excited to keep reading, and the straightforward writing style helped me fly through and focus on remembering who did what and when. Just thinking about the sheer amount of genius required to achieve something like this blows my mind!
Absolutely recommend this to everyone who wants a mystery that will keep you guessing till the very end.
