The Fall by May Archer
5.0
I really liked Silas and Everett. Everett is still grieving the death of his fiance when taking care of his injured grandfather brings him into the small town his grandfather calls home. While it's only supposed to be temporary Everett still has a job teaching art to the kids, but finding himself attracted to one of the local police officers is throwing him for a loop.
Silas has always been a love em and leave em type. He's never had a real relationship, but rescuing a stranded Everett on the side of the road has him intrigued by the newcomer to town. Showing him around seems like the easiest way to get to know the guy and maybe get this obsession out of his head.
These two were sweet as they navigated the beginning of their relationship. The actual mystery is really a small part of this story as it's really more about the guys. Eventually though it does all get wrapped up nicely and brings everything back full circle. I like the people in this town and I'm looking forward to more in the series.
