Moon of the Crusted Snow by Waubgeshig Rice

4.0

I enjoyed this book. I like how it attempts to depict how a situation would go down in real terms. I was engaged at times and at other times I wasn't, but overall I think this is a rather unique book and a worth read in the dystopian and indigenous literature genre. I liked how the book engaged with the themes of preparedness and indigenous identity, and what it means for first Nation to be connected to the land.
