Love, loss, fright... nevermore. A classic to be sure, beautifully written and chilling too. A claustraphobic atmosphere with a menacing Raven above the bust of pallas above your chamber door...
I adore this piece of writing from Poe - it flows, it's eerie, gothic and tragic. I don't really like poetry, but this piece of work is between poetry and a short story all wrapped up in beautiful prose.
