I really am on a thriller kick lately. This one, unfortunately, wasn’t a favorite. The first three-quarters of the book wasn’t holding my attention much. Things pick up quite a bit in the last quarter but it wasn’t enough to redeem my reading experience. If you don’t mind a slow-burn, you might enjoy this one more than I did. There were quite a few little twists, and while I saw one of them from a mile away, I never saw the others coming. And that’s always fun.
