I didn't have such a good time with this sequel. Cassandra's character arc here was really frustrating, personally, and the slow pace didn't help things one bit. It took a looong time for the plot to move forward and the introduction of many different characters helped drag it all down a bit.
The world-building kept expanding and the new information about the magic and Sitter world was interesting! And the final chapters when the action finally came into play was also exciting.
