Raising Ryland: Our Story of Parenting a Transgender Child with No Strings Attached by Hillary Whittington, Kristine Gasbarre

5.0

Amazing book in that it allows you to feel the struggles of this family as they came to terms with their child being transgender. In a world where we are still quick to judge others, and people are not always accepting, it provided some insight into something that is not well understood. I encourage you to read it with an open mind.

“Anytime we give an individual the freedom to be who they are, the world becomes a happier place.”

And really, isn’t that all that anyone can ask?
