Sometimes there are jarring descriptions that remind you it's a book but it's overall very good.

When Kitt got that box I knew what was in it, and whilst it crossed my mind he would choose her I couldn't work out why and dismissed it. Then with all the talk of plans and the box being there in the throne room I thought it might be coming but I still don't understand why
