This short novel is a very beautiful prosaical encapsulation of what a moment means, what series of moments mean accumulatively to a lifetime. With a somewhat confusing structure, the reader is somehow simultaneously pulled in and out of the moment. Sensuous and intrinsically perceptive. Pondering and consoling, reflective and wonder-full.
