Sycamore Row by John Grisham
4.0

Powerful story. Readers who have read and liked A Time to Kill by Grisham, will appreciate the subplot of Jake and Carla trying to move on with their lives after the Carl Lee Hailey trail. The main plot focuses on a death, a contested will, and race. The powerful ending reminds the reader that race discrimination in the south was cruel, fatal and is not as far in the past as we would wish.
