I mean I could read Taylor Jenkins Reid’s shopping list I just love her writing and how real the characters feel. This book is about the famous Riva party, but part 1 also flashed back to June Riva and the start of the four siblings’ lives which I wasn’t aware of and I feel this added the depth this book needed. It was wonderful, escapism, and of course made me feel a lot of feelings! Evelyn Hugo is still one to beat but I thought this was as good if not better than Daisy Jones. I would actually love a sequel too, to see where the Rivas go next.
Moderate: Alcoholism, Drug use, Car accident, Death of parent, Abandonment, Alcohol, and Injury/Injury detail
