The writing here, is beautiful.
The characters are imperfectly perfect. especially since the author experienced this bipolar mood swing firsthand.
But, idk, their feelings didn't exactly reach me. i can imagine this working as a movie tho. art house movie with quiet atmosphere. like "Paris, Texas" or "Lost in Translation", perhaps.
