Although the beginning of this book was slow-paced, it piqued my interest around the fourth or fifth chapter. Best friends Piper and Hazel embark on a journey to unravel the mystery behind the high number of teenage runaways. However, they soon find themselves entangled in a chaotic situation. Despite my enjoyment of the book overall, I rated it 3.5 stars due to its protracted beginning and unsatisfactory conclusion.
