How to Be a Stoic: Using Ancient Philosophy to Live a Modern Life by Massimo Pigliucci

3.0

It was fine, I read it for a book club. This might be an unfair rating because I don't actually want to be a stoic. It's written for an audience that already has decided to become stoics, so it doesn't really justify why being a stoic is better than the alternatives. It just tells you how to be a stoic, which, really to be fair, is what was advertised in the title. Again, I read this for my book club, and it was fine, I'm just not a stoic and this book didn't convert me.
