I was so excited when I saw that Kenzie was going to be paired with Nixon! Bella delivered spice, emotion, witty banter and loads of swoon in this book. Absolutely every page was just full of something good.
“I don’t know why you’re so good to me, Nixon Sinclair,” she whispers in the darkness as she presses her lips to my chest. “Because you’re mine, Mac. I think you always have been. And I’ll always protect you and take care of you.”
I loved loved loved Nixon Sinclair. He was a little bit quiet, a little bit growly and a whole lot of alpha male. Kenzie was an amazing match for him. She was smart, driven, sweet and just the right amount of insecure and timid. These two together were an absolute explosion! You could feel the chemistry, but also the friendship that really set these two apart from the rest of the group. This book was an excellent beginning to this new series and I can’t wait for more!
