I loved this book! The vibes of the countryside gave all the summer vibes and I really enjoyed it! I also loved having a strong female protagonist at the forefront, as a new and refreshing twist on society at the time! It was my first Thomas Hardy book, and it didn’t disappoint! 5/5 stars!
