I read this book when it first released but in lou of the film on Netflix I went back and listened to the audiobook. First, I would highly recommend listening to the audiobook, even over watching the film. While the ending of this book isn't my favorite I love how Tia Williams handles these characters and the age gap trope. There are a lot of pop culture references that give 2010's realness, but I enjoyed it 😂
