Broken Blades by Liz Sauco

This is such an underrated fantasy series. It’s like a beautiful gem hidden within the sand. And though I recommend it to everyone I can, I wish it was more well-known. It really should be!
And the sequel is just as good as the first (Which is something you can’t say for most sequels). The same vibes from the first book were carried through to the next book which provided a seamless continuation of the story we started. Hence it is a fantasy that I found I can just jump right back into. Even though it's still technically a new series for me, reading it brings a familiar comforting feeling.
Overall, I am just happily surprised at how much I enjoy this series even though the second book (the time I normally lose interest in a series). It is just continually a perfect fantasy series that is not centred on romance and is not overly complicated in any aspect, yet still has fun characters, a dash of fictional mythology, and a great story. I can’t wait for the next book and highly recommend the series to anyone who enjoys little magic people going on a fun magic quest.
