The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

This book is gorgeously heartbreaking. I knew this would become a favorite book of mine from beginning to end. The writing was so beautiful, and once I finished it, I wanted to reread it. The representation of the LGBTQ+ community was so well done, especially with showing the underlying fear that has been in that community for decades. The story, overall, was just gorgeous(I would say so many similar adjectives) because of how selfless and selfish both Monique and Evelyn are. I highly highly recommend this book to anyone. It is so beautiful in such a somber way. I don’t know how I’m going to cope, but I’ll be okay...
