The ending is SO GOOD. I can see why this has so much acclaim the writing style seems very en vogue (non-linear and inter generational storytelling, imaginative but based on Earth, climate tale, etc.) but some of the storylines are more compelling than others. Reminds me a little of Namwali Serpell, but I think is better written than the Old Drift
