SPOILERS AHEAD!
This book shocked me
This book opens with something that I love. Which is raw humanity. Seeing what csn happen to someone when such a bad even has occurred. This being with Elden. He starts off as this crazy homeless man, but soon becomes a sort of vessel for more.
As the story progresses you, get this sort of Stephen king meets twilight zone effect which I love. And it becomes almost like a zombie apocalypse. You start to see where the story goes and from there it becomes so much darker especially with the sub chapters mentioning either dark poetry or events elsewhere.
