Alllll the stars! This book spoke to my soul, and I devoured it. Partially due to timing, there could not have been a better time in my life to read this story. I loved every aspect of this book. Para-psychology, historical fiction, domestic gothic thriller, feminine defiance and independence, motherhood, self discovery, self care, search for justice. These themes are all seen throughout this story, and each one I loved. I will absolutely read this again, it is absolutely that good. The audiobook narration was SOOOO on point. The narrator performed this story beautifully, perfect pace, perfect pitch, and resounding depth. This could be my favorite book of 2025, and up there in my all time top books.
