I was really surprised by this book. I expected a surface level easy horror book but it was such an impressive read. so violent, graphic, and gross my jaw dropped a lot but it was so well written. loved the commentary on how we believe adults or those in charge know what’s best and in reality no one knows what they are doing. The boys having to act as adults and consider they are actually alone was interesting. Also an interesting read/ take considering the recent pandemic and what actually occurred. I do think the ending could have answered some more questions with the government aspect of this book though, some stuff was a bit too open ended
