Well, that was an enjoyable ride. While this isn't the darkest book I've read, it is the first sapphic dark romance I've read. I found that Chaos (the author) does a great job of moving the story along at a pace that lets you both connect with the characters while still allowing you to keep your misconceptions at bay.
Sadist isn't a story you put yourself in, and I say that because I often find readers putting themselves IN the story. When you do that, you do a great disservice to the characters. Just read it and enjoy it for what it is: SEXY. The back and forth between the two main characters is fantastic, and the SPICE is fabulously SPICY. The most important bit is to make sure you read the content warnings with this one!
I want to thank Haus of Fables PR and author Chaos Davie for including me in the ARC team. All opinions are my own.
