This Time Next Year by Sophie Cousens

I was pleasantly surprised to enjoy this book. Although the main characters have slightly overused tropes (heroine is shy, low self-worth, blames the world; hero has commitment issues), I felt that they showed enough background/family to justify the characters' behaviours. What I like the most is that the novel takes place over a year, so it's not one of those instant love stories that happens in less than one month and happily ever after la la la. The element of fate and flashback chapters were also really fun.
