This has one of the funniest openings to a story I've read in a long time. Love the whole Puckboys series. It's light on the angst, the spice is spicy and there's a real sense of found family throughout the series which is one of my favourite tropes.
You can read them as standalones if you don't mind minor spoilers for previous books.
Didn't think Aleks book would be one of my favourites but the opening chapter really sold it for me.
