A Place Without You by Jewel E. Ann

4.0

First time reading a book by this author. The book was okay but I didn’t love it. Bodhi and Henna, Henna and Bodhi..... the repeating of this throughout the book really got on my nerves a bit. Henna was hard to connect with at the beginning, it took a while to figure her out. The love Bodhi and Henna shared felt more one sided on Henna’s side, Bodhi walkedaway to often and didn’t prove his love her Henna IMO. It also didn’t settle right with me, what Henna did for Barrett. If someone did that for my dad and took away from me and my sister the right of knowing I would never speak to them again, very sensitive subject, which I’m not sure would have been allowed to be carried out like this, wouldn’t he have had to have had doctors at his bedside etc in his final hours, prescribing said medication?? I know it’s a story and I’m glad I finished reading it as I did enjoy it towards the end. Overall stars 3.5.
