Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert

4.0

This one falls between 3-1/2 and 4 stars for me but I'm rounding up because I just devoured the last third of this book. I'm also rounding up because I'm not sure if the trouble I had initially getting into the book was because I was really in the mood for something else.

All that being said, this a fun and steamy contemporary romance. There is so much good stuff here - an interracial romance, a main character who has a disability and is a voluptuous beauty. Both Chloe and Red are flawed and yet in each other they find exactly what they need. They have both suffered (please note that the book does address an abusive prior relationship, albeit gently, but please be aware if that is triggering for you) and, of course, misunderstand each other's motivations but I was fully invested in the ride after my initial slow start (things picked up for me as soon as Red started helping Chloe with her list).

I'm looking forward to the next entry in The Brown Sister series.
