Great story that combines the pain of loss, nostalgia of the past, & unraveling horror of secrets long buried.
The story starts off with the heart wrenching pain of Beth who's been the end of life care giver for her mother and quickly tumbles into the pain of loss. Then there is the bit that all dread, clearing out all of the bits & pieces left behind. Sometimes we find comfort in the memories these bring back, sometimes joy, & sometimes there are things that we were never meant to discover.
There is a certain catharsis in joining Beth & her siblings on their journey of loss & uncovering secrets long hidden.
