Never read a James Patterson, but my grandad loves them so I did. It was what I expected, a plot-driven thriller. Sort of predictable, but I didn’t massively mind that. Liked the political thriller aspect, not massively bothered about all the descriptions of guns and tactical gear. Exactly as expected, enjoyed as much as I expected, easy to read for when you don’t massively want to think too much about what you’re reading.
