“The moment is now, Chloe. It’s always now. Not about reliving the past or dreaming up the future, it’s in the here and now. Enjoy as many of those moments as you can, because they never come twice, my love.”

I’ve found another of my 2022 top reads! I’ve been excited to read this book for almost a year. I’m so glad I bought the paperback because if I had read it on my Kindle, I would have needed the physical book anyway. This is my first book written by Jade West, but I have many of her books on my TBR. The writing was absolutely phenomenal. I could not put this book down.

Chloe and Logan’s story broke me. I cried multiple times throughout this book because of the plot, but I was absolutely bawling my eyes out at that ending. There’s no perfect way to describe this amazing love story. Two strangers who met on a train and who initially thought they had nothing in common but fate brought them together for a reason.

This book will probably resonate with you if you’re often described as a “pessimist” even though you think of yourself as a “realist”. Jackie’s speech about this and life in general was amazing. Anyway, I will probably fight back tears every time I see this book on my bookshelf.

Disclaimer (/Spoiler): This book has an unconventional HEA/no HEA depending on how you see it. I know the ending might not please everyone, but I would still recommend it.
