Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

3.0

As previous reviewers have mentioned, one of the most fascinating and different twists about this book is the incorporation of the old photos, such as the one featured on the cover. There are additional strange and intriguing photos sprinkled throughout the book. The story itself features mystery, romance, adventure, and, of course, peculiar children. Jacob's journey leads him to discover more about his grandfather, and, through some connections that gradually become apparent, himself. The mystery introduces some mind-bending concepts surrounding the nature of the children and the house. Neat concept.
