For some reason I could not get into this book until I listened to it. The author tried to write like Austen and that is difficult to do well. I thought the mystery part was very well done. I have no idea who did it until it was revealed. Lots of twists and love tragedies. I would like to read the first in the series to see if that would have difference in my like of the story. All in all, I’m not upset to end my 2020 with a story that left me a little confused and wanting more. This year has been that anyway. Book 145 and a page more!
