Beasts of Abigaile Vol. 2 by Spica Aoki

4.0

In the second volume we learn more about the Luga and the school/prison. I really felt like this volume was a little weaker than the first and Nina has the overly ambitious main character syndrome that seems to be present in a lot of anime/manga. I really feel like this is almost a parody or kind of fan service to the genre because it doesn't take itself entirely too seriously which was a massive plus at some points.

Still enjoying the series immensely and kind of upset that it's only a 4 volume manga. At least now I'm learning my tastes for series lengths so I'll be looking at the completed number when I start buying more manga. So far this is a great first completed series.
