Though I didnt have very strong feelings for The Charm of Magpies (I liked it well enough just wasn't my fav), I ADORED this! I originally planned on not venturing further into the spin-offs this soon, but Jonah's character intrigued me so much I had to pick this one up.
Jonah and Ben were really interesting to read about and their road back to each other was devasting and hard but very satisfying. Also, I liked how the main characters of the last series were the antagonists of this one. I just found the shift in perspective fascinating.
Anyway, I'm very glad I continued on. Not sure if I'll into the other spin-off books just quite yet though....
