Man and Boy by Tony Parsons
4.0

Raw, unforgiving and real. That's what this book was like. The characters, their behaviour, the situations they were all very relatable, and I have to say that I've learnt quite a few things from this book.

My opinion is that the author wanted to teach lessons about life not only through what she wrote down, but even through the things not written or discussed too much in the book. I truly believe that later on, when Harry will realise what an enormous mistake that "little" sleeping around was, he will be destroyed. Of course, this was not in the book, so we could say this was missing from it.

Still, I feel like this was a good read, a real slap in the face in the middle of the fantasy-ocean that I'm usually swimming in. I'm glad I have read this.
