4.5 … 4.25? 4?
I think I’m going 4.25.

I don’t know how I feel about this. It was good enough that I read it in one day, and yet somehow I’m left a little disappointed at the ending. It was a great twist! Twists everywhere!! But I do think
Pamela’s motive was a bit outlandish… killing a teenager for revenge? I guess I’m supposed to think she’s all sick & deranged but it just comes out of left field. It would have been good to have some background of her being shitty to Brooke in the flashback scenes. And also of Shane being a devoted son. We don’t really get any of that. It could have been done as subtle foreshadowing. I think that would have made the ending more believable.
Also I don’t believe for one second that anybody is taking their ex back after having been wrongfully accused of murder.

BUT
That bit at the end about
Josh!?!?
And that final line!?!? Chills. That’s the final line of a book that I am HERE for.
