A City of Flames by Rina Vasquez

3.0

The first half of this book was truthfully a struggle. The dialogue and narration between characters and the plot exploration was not my cup of tea. The last 190pages were captivating and I felt the story could have started with Nara meeting the Golden Thief. Everyone's backstory felt very rushed & fell into place way too easily towards the end. Nara & Darius' banter is so lively its just a shame we didn't get more and dive in deeper overall.
